These number log slices are designed to develop children’s early identification of numbers and are perfect for counting. There are 20 slices in total, with hand painted numbers and corresponding dots, 10 small rounds (approx 5cm) and 10 larger rounds (approx 10cm). The back of the large slices are painted in chalkboard paint for mark making or to practice writing the numbers.

Being a natural product logs slices can split so it is worth checking them regularly, some people don’t mind this and like the rustic look! These log slices have been painted with acrylic paint and preserved with linseed oil.

This is not a toy! Children should always be supervised closely when doing this activity. Not recommended for children under 3yrs.

Fine motor skills are essential for being able to hold a pencil, write, do up buttons, tie shoelaces and more. These are fantastic activities for developing concentration as well as practising controlled movements.

**Please note that this is a natural product. It will have knots and imperfections and there may be small cracks in the wood. This is all perfectly normal and does not detract from the quality of the product.** These log slices have been preserved with linseed oil.
