I use French professional dyes for my scarves; they are steamed to fix the permanency of the colours and then washed to remove any excess.
The scarves are hand washable:
Care Instructions:
- Hand wash in cold water with a little mild soap, do not soak the scarf.
- Wring gently wrapped up in a soft towel.
- Hang out to dry, away from direct sunlight.
- Iron on a low heat setting while the scarf is still damp, under a cotton cloth.
Each scarf is packaged in tissue paper with a printed swing tag which also includes care instructions.

All my silk scarves are hand painted with love using various techniques; some are Japanese in origin like the shibori and arashi shibori, on some, I use salt to manipulate the dyes into unique designs and some are techniques I have developed over the years. They are always evolving; therefore, I recommend checking back regularly to see new products. I try to limit my palette to 3 or 4 colours for each scarf, this allows them to be stand-alone statement pieces and they complement many types of outfits and can dress up or down any ensemble. These are timeless pieces that should grace every wardrobe. Please note; no two scarves will be alike as they are painted freehand and the dyes never move or blend in the same way. This of course means your scarf will be unique, no need to worry about turning up to an event with the same item as someone else! You will feel amazing, special and look gorgeous wearing one of my scarves.

Shipping Policy
Please note that all taxes and import duties shall be a matter for the purchaser who will be liable for same. Therefore we would advise non-EU customers to check what taxes & duties may apply to their purchase before checking out.
All orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours. Orders placed at the weekend will be dispatched on Monday unless it’s a bank holiday weekend in which case it will be Tuesday.

Returns
RETURNS POLICY
Items purchased from Karima Rebecca Powell Artist can be returned within 14 days for a full refund less any shipping or packaging costs provided they haven’t been worn and are in exactly the same condition as when they were sold. We cannot accept returns for items that are worn, used or items that have been washed, damaged in any way (make up, perfume, hair spray, deodorant), rain damage or otherwise altered. Removal of tags & labels will qualify the item as being worn.
Please follow the instructions below to make a return for a refund.
1. Document in writing why you are returning the item (including date of purchase and order reference number).
2. Post the item (along with the document referred to at No. 1 above) to the following address:

NOTE: The item must be shipped by a traceable method or shipping insurance must be purchased to guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Any taxes or duties payable on the return of the item will be payable by the customer.
3. Upon receipt and inspection of the product, please allow up to 14 days after receipt for processing your refund.
Terms & Conditions
1. There is no refund on sale items or gift vouchers - credit note only.
2. Irish returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.
3. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in exactly the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
4. Please note that there is no refund or credit note on a Bespoke item (for example, one that has been made especially for you).
5. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs and any taxes & duties which may have been paid are non-refundable.
